From the 1st to the 7th February it will take place in the Girona Trade Fair, the 20th Edition of FiraRebaixa. The first established final day was Saturday 5th, but it has been extended till next Tuesday 7th February.
In FiraRebaixa, you will find a wide range of products with discount as: jewellery, DIY, carpets, clothes and accessories for men, women or children, appliances, gift items, furniture, cosmetics and more. All offered by stores situated in the zone of Girona that will be distributed in more than 100 stands in all the showground.
The hours of opening of the fair are from 10 in the morning till 9 in the afternoon and the entrance is free.

Girona10, discover Girona like you have never done

During the 14th and 15th of January it will take place in the city of Girona, the Girona10, an event to celebrate that the city of Girona and Costa Brava have been chosen, by the National Geographic Traveller magazine and the Frommer’s guide, like one of the best touristic destinations to visit during 2012. During the weekend, visitors have the opportunity to enjoy the attractions of Girona like hotels, restaurants, museums, monuments, guided visits, the touristic train, the local market and public transport for a symbolic sum of 10 euros or free. This initiative, taken by the Associació d’Hostaleria and Ajuntament de Girona, created to promote the tourism in the city got a big impact, in less than 15 minutes, the 1.000 rooms offered have been sold out. Shops also join this original proposal offering discounts and a extending their hours of opening from 10 am to 10 pm. The big acceptance of this idea to promote the city is visible in the social networks.
